It looks like Rudy is bouncing from that 44 yesterday. I know there was some discussion over whether you should take a reduction if the depot may still be in play with a dose, but I think he earned a reduction with that 44. That is even a reduction with TR. It was also in the 5th cycle on the 4.25 dose, so the depot should not be causing it. If he is still pink tonight, you may want to wait until tomorrow to take the reduction, but if he is coming down, you should probably reduce to 4.0 units tonight.

Happy Mother's Day!

Thanks. Sounds like a plan.

I was going to take the reduction this morning if he was blue or better, but he wasn't. I didn't take it automatically since he's had a few reductions already this past week. I'll check him at least once more before his PM shot/check.

Happy Mom's Day!

Yep, he's bouncing. You shot through the bounce yesterday morning and you should have taken the reduction last night. So , he is bouncing again today but I would take the reduction tonight to 4.0. You don't want the depot to get so far ahead of you.

Congrats on the reduction! I agree with the others that he earned it, he's had 5 cycles on the dose.

Shooting through the bounce (like you did this morning/ holding the dose for one more shot) can be a useful technique in helping a kitty get over a bounce, with pmps looking lower than amps, I'm wondering if he may be clearing this bounce sooner rather than later. ;)

He tends to clear bounces quickly. Hopefully he continues downward at the +2 or 3 mark.
