    Good Morning, L&LL,

Rusty and Edward had a good day yesterday, but it was so cold, damp, and windy that they didn't go outside. We had the heat on in the house all day!
Our hike was half on old jeep tracks and the other half a bushwhack through mud, streams, thickets, and blowdowns. There isn't a real trail yet to this remote lake in the High Peaks (the land is newly acquired by the state), and we had to stop and make directions decisions many times. But we finally found Lake Andrew and enjoyed our lunch there in the rain. I was glad I had brought warm clothes. High temperature was in the 40s with occasional rain and strong winds (which kept the bugs away). When I got home in the early evening I just vegged out in front of the TV and watched the Women's College Softball World Series. Those women are fantastic athletes. I wish Title 9 had been around when I was in college!

Today Rusty sounds pretty good and is sneezing out "the gunk". His numbers have been drifting upward so this morning I took his dose back up a smidgen to what I am calling (on the Monoject syringe) a "fat 0.15 Unit" (0.22 mm on the digital calipers).

Wishing all a good day. We're going to walk downtown to see if the farmers' market is there today. This may be the first day of the season for the market.

Sending vines to all in need,

    Yum on the farmers market!!!
Rusty you get all that nasty stuff out! Allergies? Infection? Is he on AB?
Nice that you don't let the weather change your plans. DH and I use to do trails and lunch.

Rusty has had chronic congestion for as long as he has lived with us and he is having a flare-up. No, he isn't on an a/b and doesn't have an infection. He doesn't have asthma. Don't know about allergies. If an allergy, it has to be something that is present all the time: winter, summer, fall and spring.

Rusty...nice that you got to stay inside with Daddy Bean where it's nice and warm while Mama Bean went out in the nasty weather! And good job cleaning out that gunk!
