Hi Everyone and thanks in advance for your help. I have a recently diagnosed 13 year old kitty that is my whole heart. I just adore her more than anything. She has always been a dry food kitty and with the diagnosis, we are switching. WEEEELLLL I am the only one really switching because she isn't choosing to participate. Any recommedations?! So far we have tried sever fancy feast flavors, a couple of friskies, weruva, plain tuna fish, DM prescription in both crunchy and wet, blue buffalo, wellness. I am going to go buy some Tiki cat today to try but I don't have my hopes up too much. Are we going to survive this transition?! LOL
On a serious note, she is a fatty liver survivor. 6 years ago she had it at the stage that is fatal and is an absolute miracle so not eating is something that I can't have so waiting it out isn't as much an option for me as it might be for some others.

Welcome! It is best to post questions on the Main Health Forum since this is just an introduction forum. I had a pretty rough time transitioning my girls from dry to wet, too. I got some Young Again Zero Mature dry food to give them during the transition, and I kept trying foods until I found things they would eat enough of. I also add shredded chicken on top of their food which gets them more interested.

The food struggles are tiring. I hope you are able to find something that works for you.

If you write to the folks at youngagainpetfood.com for a sample of the young again zero they will send it. it's about 1% carb. Also Dr. Elsey's Clean protien dry chicken is about 5%... they will also send a free sample, but it tends to be cheaper to order that one on chewy.com. try putting some of her regular kibble on top of the dry... or grinding it up into a powder and sprinkling it on.
