Dee hasn't received an injection since sat morning! My vet said not to dose her if her morning BG was under 200. She's been under 200 for the last 3 mornings. Trying not to get my hopes up too much but hoping she may be just diet controlled. Started at 593 and only getting 1U lantus twice a day she only received 5 injections before getting under 200. Had a vet visit today to see how she's doing. She's still not 100% herself but getting more alert and not hiding under the bed. Eating and drinking normal, urinating normal, still has loose stools but hoping the probiotic with help with that soon.

It would be helpful to see a spreadsheet and know which meter you are using, AT or human. I hope you get her diet controlled.

I'm working on getting a spreadsheet together. Between work full-time, nursing school finals and getting acclimated with Dee's needs and schedule I've only managed to keep a written journal right now. I'm using the relion prime glucometer though where she's been under 200 so my vet has me holding her insulin. She's finally perking back up which is good.

Not to be a nudge but when you have time it’s great if you put pertinent info such as meter you use, what you are feeding, in your signature so we don’t keep asking you. Normal is 50-120 on a human meter but since you changed the food I would not restart insulin either. Maybe run a fructosamine if she has been on a new diet for a couple of weeks or more. If not it won’t be worth running it yet.
