    12/27 condo

Good evening from the frozen north!

I didn't get to Rusty's condo yesterday because I was traveling to Burlington VT to get my car it's first servicing (5000 miles). It was -19 degrees F. at our house in the morning. But the roads were good and I just made the ferry in both directions. Rusty and Edward held the fort. Rusty apparently didn't stray far from the radiator. Same for today. It was a little warmer (the high was -1). We are thankful for our furnace, for the hot-water radiators that stay warm, and for a house that was built for very cold winters (in the 1920s, when these frigid temperatures were "normal").
I wonder if Rusty's yellow AMPS yesterday and today is owing to the cold? I try to warm up the meter, but the strips may be too cool to be accurate? Otherwise Rusty is just continuing to be unpredictable. I'm thinking of taking his dose up a notch, but fearful that it will drop him too low in mid-cycle.

Trying to get caught up on paperwork before the new year.

Wishing all a good evening and a good holiday weekend.

Not too many folks put their car on a ferry to get it serviced :p. I have taken that ferry to a brewers fest on the waterfront in Burlington, Lake Champlain is gorgeous.

I hope Rusty flattens out for you soon. That is cold. Stay warm.

They have some great microbrews in Burlington (and Vermont in general).

PM shot may have been fur, or a shot without insulin. So hard to measure! I'm going to take Rusty's dose up a bit tomorrow.
