Next number at 6+ was no better...in fact getting worse as the day goes on - like my back. Going to see a doctor this afternoon. Maybe Luci and I will have a better day tomorrow!

Oh I hear you on both counts :bighug::bighug: my back is so bad I couldn’t pick Silver up for his tests today. Had to persuade him to jump up on table for test. And our AMPS was no better.

I wish I could get Silver’s pee. He never ever goes in front of me. And doing the cling wrap to catch it wouldn’t work as I have two cats. I’d never know who I was testing! They both cross their legs til I go out!

Good luck with the doctor, hope he can do something to help with the pain.:bighug::bighug::bighug:

These numbers look like a bounce from the green yesterday.
It's also possible she went lower last night, see how her +1 was lower than pmps, that can indicate an active cycle( One where she drops into nadir then back up by next PS).

A bounce cycle is what you are seeing today, numbers largely high and flat, they can bobble about a bit but no distinct curve, like you saw yesterday and the day before.

She may bounce for up to 6 cycles, but can clear it sooner, and not necessarily during the day. This is where getting those pm tests becomes super important. Please make sure you always get a pm test.

If you find that your PS is significantly lower than the +9 that you often get, that may signal the clearing of the bounce, shooting as the bounce clears, often leads to a pretty active cycle that can require monitoring and perhaps steering.

The doctor gave me something to help me sleep - the big problem right now for me is the agony in my back when getting into or out of bed and every time I move. I'm exhausted and in a great deal of pain. So getting up to do BG's in the middle of the night is off the plan for now. I have a full time job that I have to be able to function for the next day (I work from home, but still need to be able to function mentally). So another reason why getting up at night is nearly impossible. The best I can do is get one at 9 p.m. by simply not going to bed...

This is a miserable time - for me and for Luci. I don't know what else to say except I'm doing everything I can to help her.

We have to hope that she'll settle down with her numbers during the day, because getting numbers late into the night - just not realistic. I know you're trying to be helpful...and I appreciate that...not sure what else I can do at this time to take better care of her.

Take it easy, take it slow....I have to keep reminding myself to breathe when in pain as even breathing hurts. Do you take any meds that help at all? You need to take care of you as well as Luci. Its clear you love her to bits and what you are doing is GREAT! Many folks just give up their cats to shelters as they can't cope. Look at the good you are doing for your baby. :bighug: I can't get pm tests either as I need to sleep to function the next day. What I do is test, feed and shoot at 6:30 pm then I get a test just as I am going to bed - sometimes I make it to 10 pm but often not.
