He is eating soooo good! (anit-jinx). It is just amazing to me. I don't know what has changed but he is eating immediately after his feeder turns with no encouragement needed and eating ALL of his fudz. This morning he wanted his after shot treat so badly that he fought me on the shot. I finally had to put the syringe down and pick him up and calm him down. He just wanted down to eat his treat (which I don't put down until after the shot).

I was hopeful for a blue start with that +11 but it wasn't meant to be. Maybe tonight.

    TGIF. Have a wonderful day!

It's great to hear Gizmo is eating so well. That AMPS is pretty close to blue. I hope he heads back down and surfs today.

Poor Gizmo having to wait for his treat. With Bubba, treats are first to lure him back to the cat buffet and then he gets another one after. Oh, the games we have to play.......

    TGIF!

I get one good cycle and then I have to wait 3-4 to get another. I just don't understand why this has changed and it is very frustrating but not much I can do about it. He got an 82 on 01/17 AM cycle so I don't have much room to increase (not being able to monitor). Just because there are not greens on the sheet doesn't mean he isn't getting them - just my lack of being able to test. <<sigh>>
He has been getting a FD chicken heart (1/2) for his after shot treat - he goes absolutely mad for them. More so than the Purebites Duck liver. He can smell it and just can't wait for it - lol. And this is just after his big, pre-shot meal. Silly boy.:cat:

Not trying to borrow trouble but it is kinda freaking me out. As an example - tonight he ate his +2.5 food (he had been sitting in front of the feeder waiting for it to turn) and then I gave him some cat nip, brushed him and opened up a window for him for a bit and in less than 30 min he is back sitting in front of his feeder waiting for his +4.5 that is over an hour and a half away from turning. He has been doing this all week both AM & PM cycles. He is feeling good and no indication that there is anything wrong so I am trying to not panic. I did increase is food by a bit tonight too.

I was going to ask the same question as Brinx's Dad re weight gain. I weight Yum at the same time every day. Yum has been eating about twice the calories she should but she hasn't gained significant weight. I figure it is due to the high BG numbers. Gizmo's BG numbers are a little bit higher than they were. It's darn cold here too! Maybe that is making him hungry.

Holding steady ~11#'s since November '17. He is getting 9-10 oz of food/day (appx 225+ calories per day depending on the mixture).

So much better when they eat though than when they don't.

    I wondered about that too.

ETA-I weight him 1x/week Sunday morning and try to do it around the same time of day.
