I know a lot of people would kill to have these numbers, but the trend is definitely in the wrong direction.

She gets fed the same snacks she used to, and although she doesn't always get a +9 at night (at 3-4am) it doesn't seem to make any difference on the AM +9 ....her PMBG is still higher than I'd like to see.

She doesn't bring herself down by +3 (I've got a few tests in and they're usually about the same as the PS) but she does come down later in the cycle (but not always)

At this point, I'm worried and could use some guidance.

Everything else is pretty normal...eating, peeing, pooping......just the numbers creeping up

 

I think I'm going to go back on insulin tonight....maybe .1

If @Bobbie And Bubba can go OTJ 3 times, so can China

 

I know first hand how difficult and emotional that decision is to make, but I do think you're doing the right thing. Nip this in the bud.

Sending you hugs! I regret I waited too long this last time as per the vet. My gut told me to start him back ASAP. I think you are doing the right thing. You have a whole board rooting for China !

Sorry China's numbers are still creeping up. Hopefully she won't need to be back on insulin very long.

 

Good luck. I think restarting insulin is the best thing to do also. Come on China!

 

Went back on the .1 dose tonight...we'll just see how it goes, but I didn't want her going any further out of control before doing something about it.

Now I just have to remember how to do all this....LOL (It was strange....I'd gotten out of the "habit" and had to remind myself what I was doing)

 

You'll get her back!

 

That happens fast, but you also get back in the swing of things quickly. I hope this is just a short time back on insulin.

 

She's just missing the treats and attention that come with the extra pokes. She'll be back on track in no time!
