I have a problem. My 15 year old kitty Zoe was diagnosed with diabetes 2 years ago. The vet put her on a very low dose of insulin, and a year later, she was non diabetic. Vet took her off the insulin. Weight started at 20 lbs, and stabilized at 12. That was a year ago. A few months ago, she started loosing weight again. Vet did tests, and said that the diabetes had not returned. But she is down to 10 lbs. Antibioics had no effect. She is active, not always hungry, and only eats half her allotment of low carb wet food twice per day. Vet has no answers. Ultrasound shows no issues. I'm really worried about my kitty.

Welcome! If you post this in the Main Health Forum you’ll get more eyes on it. Did your vet do blood work?

Is weight loss her only symptom? What should her healthy weight be?
