Has anyone come across this raw dehydrated food yet or know anyone that has fed it to their cats? Just curious as I can't find much on reviews of the product, however, my holistic vet put this on the list of possible foods I can feed Kekoa since he's now in early to moderate CKD. My guys seem to like the Rad Cat, the stores near me just seem to not be able to stock it or someone is going in there on delivery day and buying all the chicken leaving the beef and venison. But another local pet store carries this My Perfect Pet, they sell more dog formula than cats.

I checked the ingredients and I wouldn't feed that to my cat.
Whole Yam, Whole Potato, Spinach, Cranberries, Kale, Collards

Yikes, I didn't look at the ingredients yet, was more focused on the low phosphorus I guess. Thank you for pointing that out.

Can you talk to one of the stores and let them know how much and what kind of radcat you need so they will keep it regularly in stock for you? Before we moved, the store near us had Stella & Chewys but mostly sold it for dogs and didn’t keep the frozen cat food on hand until we told them we wanted that food. Then they made sure they had several bags a week on hand because we were regular customers.

I just called the store near me and they said they did order more of the 24oz containers yesterday (per my phone call yesterday). They have my name on two containers. I will ask them to reorder again when I go in to pick them up, it sounds like people don't buy too often from them. I also just called another store that is on my way home from work. I normally don't drive, I take the Universities shuttle from the campus near my house to the main campus. I drove specifically in hopes of finding another store with RadCat. The next "closest" store charges $10 more than the store near me! Geez...

@LuvinThisPig orders radcat online for delivery from far away. Of course that makes it even more expensive.

I live in a very rural town with no 'pet' stores anywhere near. The closest supplier of RadCat is about 2.5 hours away from my house. That is why I can justify ordering it, because gas would cost as much. I looked and looked for a company that would affordably ship a pre-prepared raw diet or the components to make one, but most charged about $50 a ship. Then I found onlynaturalpet.com and they are amazing! They charge about $20 for a 24oz tub, but if you auto-ship it is a lot cheaper. They also provide a ton of different coupons and first buyer discounts. I believe these can be reused like on some sites. They do charge and extra frozen shipping fee, but it is only $14.95, which includes a very well made Styrofoam cooler and the food is packed in dry ice! When I received the first order I was very shocked and the food? Well, it comes frozen solid and hard as a rock!!! Fantastic company! They do still charge regular shipping, but with shipping (frozen and regular) and then the discounts, the price averages out to about $23 for a 24oz tub. This I can manage. Besides, the vet bills you save on the other side out weigh the costs anyways!!

Thank you @LuvinThisPig ! I will have to check out that online store. If the average for a 24 oz container is $23, it's still cheaper than the store across town who is selling them for $29!! I just can't believe that. The store near me said they order a couple containers for me last weekend and they would call yesterday or today to let me know if it's in. I hope it's in today. It's like $15-16 a container there.

Really!? Well, that is certainly a better price! Can you count on it being there, though? If you need it? Or do you need to order it in advance? The price at onlynaturalpet.com is actually pretty good. I think you have to have orders placed by Sunday and they ship out Tuesdays. Shipping there is phenomenal! Good Luck!

I get the 24 oz chicken for $15.87. Both local providers recently raised their prices.

My store allows me to call a Radcat order in and they hold em for me, maybe your store can do that too?

I forgot to say the provider I use has a loyalty program, where I get one free after I buy 10. The other store gives a discount when you buy 12 at once, but they never have 12 in stock. Originally they would order cases for me, but they changed their policy. Lost my business. My new provider also has free delivery to my door.
