Has anyone ever used insulin from Mexico? I live an hour away from the border.

I grew up on the border and I know lots of people that would get their drugs from Mexico. They were the same quality but at 1/4 the price, I think that's a great idea.

I've always used insulin from Mexico (no other choice really) and I've never had a problem, is centanly cheeper than what you pay in the US and no prescription is needed, in the case of Lantus pharmacies usually carry packages with 3 or 5 pens and some may even sell you one pen , Levemir may be harder to find but most pharmacies will get it for you if you ask for it

Do you know the name of a reputable pharmacy in Mexico, that might ship insulin.

I'm not sure they can actually ship insulin to the US, I think US custom won't allow it, you will probably have to go and pick it up yourself , but we can ask.

Which is the nearest mexican city that you have?

Taking a look I see that "Farmacias Benavides" and "Farmacias San Jose" have branches in Nogales and they are both very reputable pharmacies, they both have home delivery but as I mentioned they probably can't deliver cross the border

As i said the pharmacy won't ask for a prescription but US customs may when you go back so it may be a good idea to have a prescription at hand just in case

At this time Buddy is doing pretty good, BG is either too high or too low. How is Teasel.

My kitty Guy had his right eye removed in Feb., went we got the lab results it said he had cancer. His vet said he had stage 4 cancer, the treatment is either chemo or prednisolone. I am giving him prednisolone and hoping it will keep the cancer at bay for a little while. I lost a kitty in November 2017, I am hoping Guy has a little while left.

I'm glad Buddy is doing OK. I'm sorry you're dealing with another sick kitty though. :(

Teasel is doing well on Lev.

I asked Buddy's vet about Lev., but she wanted him to stay on Lantus.

I hate for any of my cats to be sick, at this time Guy seems to be doing alright.

Do you ever talk to Yong, seems she just disappeared, but I am sure there is more to it than that.
