My current vet has given up on Riley. A new vet I tried because they belong to American Association of Feline Practitioners said he would euthanize his own cat if it became diabetic. Riley is in need of a responsible, caring feline veterinarian. Can anyone please help?! I would not consider Met Vet West in Robinson Township, Castle Shannon Animal Hospital or Bethel Park Cat Clinic to be worthwhile.

    Thank you!

What?! Lovely attitude. I would run from him... which you obviously are trying to do.

    That's terrible!

I hope you find a better vet than that!

Thanks for getting back to me. And I didn't make any of that up! I was in shock when he said that and wanted to run before he said anything else. He wanted to see Riley in two weeks but I did not go back.

I just wish I could help with a vet rec.

Here's a thread from the Meetups forum:

Sounds like there might be (or at least were) a bunch of people in the Pittsburgh area? It's a somewhat old thread, but you could maybe look through to scan for folks that have posted on the site recently (and thus might be checking messages) and pm them to ask about local vets.
