just wanted to introduce us to the forum, I am anxious to start the new insulin, hoping the numbers get better, I am sure I will have a lot of questions but I heard you guys are awesome, it’s a little intimidating to change and a lot to learn but I’m sure we will get it. I’ve printed out all the yellow sticky’s and put in binder, also read them several times, just nervous

Welcome to you and Bella! :bighug:

I think you will be pleased with the switch and Bella should like it too. It is a lot to learn, but you're off to an excellent start making a binder. I made one too and I use it all the time! Try to familiarize yourself with the concepts of: onset, duration, ,nadir, overlap and carryover...so many things will come in to focus once you understand those things. Don't get discouraged if it doesn't all make sense on the first read, some of it takes time to sink in.

Ask tons of questions and keep reading! :cat:

Welcome. It is overwhelming at first. Even for some of us veterans there are times it just doesn't make sense or we forget. During those times is when you lean on people here for help.

Thanks for the welcome, yeah I’ve read and read and read, but I’m sure what I’m reading will eventually make more since once I start seeing it on the spreadsheet, I’m excited and nervous:) glad to know you guys are here to lean on for help

As they say every cat is different (ECID). Olive is my second diabetic and is totally different. I feel like a newbie all over again. She does have some extenuating issues that make it more difficult this time. I've been leaning on the good peeps here.
