Well we just had our 15min of play exercise, he is exhausted but loved every min of it @Magic Johnson suggested some exercise might help too, never thought about that in cats, but it’s diabetic humans exercise is good, exercise is good for anyone

The fact that you can get Bella to play at 13 yrs old is awesome! What kind of play/exercise does he still like to do? The only time I've seen Sake play in the last yr was a few seconds with a laser pointer mouse. I don't know if it's because of her age, the FD, the fact that Toulouse always monopolizes the laser mouse, or a combination. I've always had that problem with the sibling competition though--ever since Sake became the older cat.

I miss playing with Gizmo. He was such a fun one to play with. He did chase down a mayfly a while back, batted it out of the air and ate it. I guess that is playing

He does still like his cardboard scratcher (with catnip of course).

Sake still kills creepy crawly bugs for me (sometimes rather large ones,) so if that counts as play, then she's still playing as well :joyful: I ordered a Neko Flies KittyCada Cicada toy that for the cats which should be here on Tues, so it will be interesting to see if Sake shows any interest in that, as it's supposed to make cats really want to play...

It’s like a wand with a furry thing on the end, I had him going from1 shelf to the other on the kitty wall, I kinda cheated and put the furry thing in catnip and he LOVES catnip.
I’ve tried laser pointer, other cats love it but bella looks at me like mom there’s nothing there I’m not chasing nothing lol

That's a big drop at +2 this evening. I'd get another test before bed. :)
