    Yesterday's condo

She's starting out today further from the lagoon than yesterday - wonder how long it'll take her to get there? I'll check at 2+...

I'm hoping today is Luci's day to visit the lagoon and surf a bit - yesterday she just dipped a toe...and mom being ever cautious fed her MC - as she has a history of diving with the sharks. She skittered back to the beach and wanted no part of the lagoon for the rest of the day. But she did linger in the low 100's until the evening...and that was that...

    Today - fingers crossed!

She bobbling around some in bounce mode. Also, keep in mind that the higher carb food you gave her on the 14th to keep her safe can take up to 72 hours to clear out of the system. She'll come down Momma :cat:

I thought yesterday she looked pretty good...got a little taste of the lagoon and played around on the beach for the longest time..but today...not so much...surprised to see that HC food still influencing her...but we're happy rolling along like this for a day or two or whatever it takes for all that HC to clear her system...:)

HC wet food doesn't last more than a couple of hours. That's why we suggest if kitty is low and you feed HC, that you need to keep testing for a couple of hours to make sure they don't drop again. Dry food can take longer to get out of the system.

Looks to me like you have room for an increase back up to 1.75 units. When you do increase and if you see a big drop at +2, I'd try a little MC to try to prevent her from diving into the deep end right away. The goal should be longer stretches of safe green.

Sorry Sue for any confusion. I thought you gave her HC dry food on the 14th.

I did feed her HC food on the 14th - a couple of times - because I was going to be away from her for several hours (remember with the relatives).
I see...it was all wet food - I really don't have any dry food to give her.

So with that being said, should I increase this morning to 1.75?

I see that you did increase. I think that was a good idea as she marginally hit greens again with the last reduction.
