My vet told me the most the carbs should be in canned food for a diabetic cat is 10% dry matter. Does anyone know the equivalent in an "as fed" percentage? The new food chart only has the numbers for "as fed" but I don't know what that is in equivalent to the "dry matter" percentage I've always been looking for.

The food chart list the 10% of calories from carbs. One wants that less than 10%.
% calories for carbs avoids the need to specify the serving size. Also just specifying the weight percent is not good enough since fat has about 5 times more calories per unit weight than either protein or carbs
