We have to do what we think is best to keep them safe. This could be part bounce too.

It really is hard to know what to do in the moment. I understand how frustrated you are, this is hard game to play! But like Carla said above, better to be in high numbers and keep it safe. Plus you now have more data to help you with a decision like this in the future. I hope your day gets better

Well I've been at this a year so I have a tonne of data. I could easily have shot and I am not in the least bit frustrated. I chose not to shoot full dose because I don't leave food out. Had that been a pm shot I would have given full dose. I also know that the number is a lot higher on the Accucheck meter which is more in line with the lab.

A BCS and maybe a small bounce in there.

Just an idea...for those low green AMPS....is there a higher carb food in the type he likes or maybe stir a crushed up temptations treat to help lift the numbers for a bit even though you can't leave food out.

So I am thinking the 4u is not enough and the 4.25 too much. Hmm. It woudn't be too much if he could get a +4 snack on the am cycle but even with a timed feeder, I could not be certain he would get it. Might try your idea @Tracey&Jones of giving him high carb and full shot instead of BCS next time. I wonder if that will have the same effect? but at least I can keep the dose consistent at 4.25. Will give him one more day at 4u and see if its part bounce. Squint at that blue tonight and its yellow.

At this stage I think it is good to try carb levels and see of you can get a good enough fòod bump and have him come back down.

I would give it 6 cycles on the four units but up to you.

Actually, given that he is only 214 at +4 I think the 4u may be okay. He may hold this reduction well. Two days ago when he was at the same number at +4 I had the green AMPS yesterday. So, bouncing is over and the 4u has kicked in. And, my plan of upping the dose back to 4.25u on Friday if not seeing green IS six cycles on 4u as you can see on his ss.
