    Yesterday's

Well, he earned another reduction yesterday and I moved him to 20.5uL on last night's cycle. He did really well with it. In fact, he actually ran markedly higher last night. However, I do not think that is the dose at all considering that his depot should still be in play from the higher dose. It might be, but I am leaning more on the side of it is time to have a good poo soon. I suspect he will have a decent one today and will trend back into the greens here soon. Yet, it could be the dose. Sometimes, I suppose, you cannot predict everything. A lot of times I just end up being wrong.. haha :p

All in all, though, his is doing really well. A little constipated, but I am thinking that is less to do with the raw and more to do with passing hair. He has turned a whole new coat and the shed is insane! He always runs a bit higher right before pooing out a hairball.

I am getting close to adding in the SEB, which should help a lot with that. I am still nervous about dosing. I have 400mg capsules... I will probably start him very slowly on it. I have about a week and then I will look at starting that.

@LizzieInTexas thank you for the tip on the spoons! I got mine in yesterday and they are purrfect! :woot::smuggrin:

@LizzieInTexas have they figured out the 'mass' in Gizmo's bladder? I ask this because I was surfing your thread the other day and you made mention that what they found may be a clot or spot from a urine sample or bladder poke... When we were at WSU they found a similar spot in Pig's bladder, but Dr. Fidel said it was a clot from a sample poke. She did not mention blood flow to it at all... I am just curious if maybe they are the same things...

    Wow.

SRT +7 weeks, and Pig has gone from ~60Units to ~20 units. That really is a remarkable drop. It is still a boatload of insulin to give to a kitteh. But that reduction trend is must amazing. Let's hope it continues.

Leoberry turned 12 years old - he has been through a lot. I made a little birthday thread for him.

He would not be alive if I had not gotten help from this wonderful forum.:bighug:

This is what the US report states:
    and
    and in the summary:
    So, no, nothing definitive.

5 mm x 13mm = 1/4" x 1/2" so it is relatively small. To biopsy it would be very invasive and we are not going there.

Yes... I certainly hope it does. He actually hit his first lime green earlier today, but came right back up with very little intervention.

I am so happy to hear of Leo's birthday! He certainly is a wonderful boy!

I will concur. This board is quite an amazing place! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Yeah.. Seems like they do not want to commit to much, huh? I suppose there would be no definitive unless you biopsied it and that seems like quite a lot. It was never mentioned that there was blood flow to this 'clot' of Pig's, but I am curious to see if it will dissolve itself over time. Dr. Fidel was pretty confident that it was from a cystocentesis stick..
