Hi L&LL,

Sorry to be absent for several days (we were down at camp leading a paddle in very windy conditions, and since returning I have a mountain of paperwork and other stuff to do). Rusty had a good trip to camp and was a great host at the post-paddle "refreshments" we had. He enjoys our group of friends and made sure to greet each one.
Since returning he has been tired and hasn't had good appetite. His numbers are all over the place (the steroid, the travel, etc. etc.). His breathing is so-so. But he's hanging in there. This morning's shot was short (some insulin left in the syringe). He doesn't like to get his shots any more. He's so skinny that it must not feel good. He is having a better day today than he did yesterday and is getting ready for the 2nd night of the Full Strawberry Moon Party. I finally got his spreadsheet up to date.

We call that "being on" around here. It's nice to go home and be off. I guess that's why I'm usually dressed for bed by 5 pm. Hopefully tomorrow he'll have rested and perk up....
 
Rusty! Please come back to the kitchen! I know I'm the Chief and that our Kitchen Krew are all more than competent, but things just don't go as smoothly unless you're nearby. We need our party food for our own party and mustn't feed the sharks!!

Hey Rusty, stop twitching when you get the little prick!! It makes you feel better and you need it! Glad the party worked out for both of you.........don't you be going too low Rusty, you amking mama nervous! Sending lots of purrs your way!
