For those who put their cats medicine in gelatin capsules, what size do you use?

I have seen people mention #4 and #5 capsules.

I use 3 mainly because I can't get smaller ones (and this would be the biggest one I would recommend) where I live but If you can I would recommend #4, #5 are very nice but sometimes is too small to hold what you need to put in them

I use #4. Then use a bit of butter on the outside and a treat to follow to make sure he swallows.

    I use # 3 and #4. I can usually get multiple meds (1/4 of 250 metronidazole/budesonide and Pepcid) in a #3 that would not go into a #4

I used 5 because only had to put one small pill in it.
