She sure is reluctant to get back to the lagoon...that girl needs to go surfing for mama... She so far hasn't given a hoot about that increase...we'll see if she notices today.
I had to give her the insulin in her scruff last night - in the last week or two I'd been giving it to her along her side like behind her shoulder area - and she was wincing - she didn't like that area a bit...I've read though that the skin isn't as thick there...so thought it was helping but hurting her to help???
She doesn't seem to mind the ear pokes a bit though...purred through that this morning and 99% of the time she does...but those injections...even with the finest gauge needles...poor girl...
Oh well..it is what it is - I tell myself whenever she winces/flinches that if it weren't for that little moment of pain, mama would have to endure a lot more pain and grief...she's gonna have to put up with it until there's a better way.
