It’s her hyperthyroidism and shes starting to seem more active, ugh they are probably gonna wanna increase her meds and that’s when we start having problems, so again he will prob want to take, her to 10mg, and we will again have to,try and start off slowly and increase over a 2 week time period, I hope she hasn’t lost more weight, I feed her all the time, add bone broth, I’m trying to to keep up with her metabolism

Thank you Jamie, we appreciate it! I hope the overgrooming isn't anything serious. My Bella has been overgrooming her belly ever since my soul kitty Mateo passed 8 years ago. I think she started to comfort herself after our loss, and she just never stopped. She hasn't had much, if any, hair on her belly since. We went to the vet a time or two, but other than offering Feliway for anxiety, they could find nothing wrong. I certainly hope Abby's overgrooming doesn't morph into OCD like my Bella.

Best of luck on the new job and I'm still so jealous of you! I hope you have a blast this weekend!! Tell your Bella that Lou's already at the lagoon and ready for a swimming buddy! :D

Has anyone tried making a paste with SEB & rubbing a tiny amount in where they lick? I read it's very healing for the skin & maybe it might discourage the licking?

Here's a message from my Vet today. "There is an emerging problem with certain "Grain Free diets." Do some reading on the Internet. At this time we recommend you switch to a NON-GRAIN FREE DIET.
The issue is Heart Muscle Problems." (always something with the cat food!)

Sounds like a great job. The atmosphere will be much better for your body & mind. Good for you! :joyful::joyful::joyful:

How long before Bella 'usually' (do they do anything usually???) responds to an increase? Just wonderingo_O

I've had the worst week of my life!!! I can barely keep up with Miss Luci - had to move my mom today - from one AFC to another - much better - more expensive - but it was unavoidable. The other AFC just could not be tolerated any longer (they were ignoring her way too much!) too many other issues - uncooperative manager (with a touch of *****iness thrown in for good measure!!!) Another exhausting day - and the doctor tells me yesterday - just go home and take it easy for a few days - ha! And I move mom the very next day! I had help so I wasn't lifting anything heavy - but it's hot and sweaty - just organizing and supervising...I was on my feet for 5 hours :( Going to shower and go to bed ASAP! whew... :(
