SD Codefree meter (UK). Can anyone help with how to use?

A member who wants to hometest is having some problems setting up her Codefree meter. Can anyone help?
@Gill & George - am I right in thinking you use this meter?

@Stella and Ciara - hopefully you may be able to get some advice on your meter in this thread.

Stella, @Stella and Ciara , are you able to explain the particular issues you're having with getting the meter to work?

 

I had a problem setting the time it would not do it but i have now set the date and maybe that is all i need i ignored all the other stuff

I have finally done one test but the pen would not work so i took the top off and did it manually
Hope i did it correctly as it came up at 19.5 very high really

Yes, the 19.5 is high, but it could be a heck of a lot higher than that. Don't worry about that one number. Celebrate that you've been able to get a test!

Thank you thank you for the encouragement i will try again after her next injection maybe at 9.30pm if i can do it I have written to the manufacturer to ask for another pen but they may say its how i inserted it but i think i did it correctly
it is so scary at first she was so good poor Ciara
