    Yesterday

He was super hungry this morning. I have dropped him off and drove to work and then sat in the car and cried. I left him with my shirt and a can of food he can have after he is all done. He had a big soft serve poop this morning, so we will see how he does today :nailbiting:

Considering he was fasting that AMPS is pretty high.

Thank you all for the vetty vines last night and this morning.

We are having a spa day to day at work. So I have a couple hours of work then off for a mani and massage. Hope to be done by the time Jones is done as I will directly from there and pick him.

I will update when he is done. They are supposed to send me a picture.

I have been gathering info on SCL....and I have a feeling that I have done this all back-a$$-backwards and I am not sure if we will ever get a diagnosis.

Depending on the results of the BW and U/S - I am thinking of maybe dropping metro and cypro. He is eating fine and the metro was never meant to be a long term solution. As well, I will be asking my vet about moving to a more holistic approach if we are moving to palliative care. We will see.

I will not be on today till later.

Vines for all in need today and extra scritches for Phoebe and Grandpa.

Morning Trace. Tiz 11.40am Thursday here.

I hope you have dries your eyes by now , otherwise they will be gobstoppers which makes driving a bit hard.

I think you may be soon picking up Jones if you haven't already. Cannot imagine a massage or spa day through work.

All hugs and things like that from me.

I'm doing the old man thing and packing it in Tracey. Maybe the Big Guy in the Sky will smile down upon us and we'll squeak through one more Christmas together. No tears tonight and maybe we'll talk tomorrow. I'm having a screamer so I might be in bed for quite awhile. Thank God for Lorazepam and Rizatriptan. :bighug: for you and Jones, :banghead: :blackeye: is me right now.
Found out the dog may have Addison's, just freaking great.

Just catching up on all of this, hope Jones did great today and you get some good answers! You guys are definetley in my thoughts and prayers tonight! And i kind of had a feeling you were taking a step back from the forum, Tracey. I too know how hard it is when you can't seem to figure these things out. Rufus is going on 14 months of major issues, and now my "healthy" cat, Ozzie, has some kidney issues discovered. Just doesn't end :) Hugs to all the human and kitties :)

Sorry for the late update. He had the ultrasound and made lots of friends. She has the BW in that had some interesting results - anemic (more than before), high folate, B12 low, specFL was high, Glucose high...all other were pretty normal. Still need a copy of the results and will update his sheet when I get it. The ultrasound was "unremarkable" and showed no obvious signs of masses and US tech didn't think the intestine were inflamed any more than last time. But did show a very angry pancreas. The complete report will be done tomorrow or Friday. She asked for one more blood test as she thinks she may have found something that would explain the interesting blood work results and his clinical symptoms. That will take a couple more days as she needed to send it to Texas? She sounded very optimistic about something. So a few more days for her to gather test results and come to some conclusions. She cut some more meds out of his pill box and gave me some buprenorphine for his pain. Oh, and we agreed to keep giving insulin. I really didn't realize he was in pain, so now watching like a hawk, he has always loafed...so not sure what I am looking for.

Cats: What is that humming sound.
Jones: Oh, that is just Mom on high alert and hovering mode.

I will update as I learn things. Right now I am happy to have him home.

Are you running the EPI test with Texas at TAMU?

Join the club. I put civvie Theo on pred and it was like a miracle drug. It picked him right up and stopped the daily barfing. I was told I have to have him off pred for three weeks before the endoscopy/biopsy, so never did it. Didn't want to revert to the "before" picture. Pred (or budesonide in Neko's case) can take care of any GI inflammation. In Neko's case we did a before and after U/S and the thickness was down 33%, back into normal range.
I will be optimistic too now. Sounds like she wants to do a complete GI panel at Texas AMU?

Deep breath, land the helicopter for a while. Jones is home. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
