I love mirtz when it works. I really think that if you can get the symptoms (what ever they are) under control before giving it - it does really work. I also try and give at least 3 days apart. He ate all his PM fudz last night without prompting and licked the bowls clean and same with the AMPS meal. He seems to be feeling pretty good. I think the gaba is having some affect on the pain but not wiping him out. Overall, for an old guy, he seems to be doing good!

All your kits doing well? Abby still ok with the thyroid issue?

Awesome update Lizzie
Abby is doing ok, we go back next month for another T4 test only problem we are having is the very over grooming, she takes her teeth and pulls at her fur, I’ve tt my vets (owner) assistant who is also a vet he works sundays and he suggested putting Abby on a small dose of Xanax he says he uses that because if I put her on antidepressants like Prozac then when we take her off it will have to be slowly with Xanax you can just quit taking it, so my vet is looking into it for me and I’m gonna call Monday, if she’s awake she’s grooming and picking and pulling, drive u insane
 
Looks like Bella is doing good on 2 units .
I thought Ravan was Ok on 1 unit but he start dropping & the food wouldn't stop it. He went to 39. Got me a bit shook up that he kept dropping.
I'm going to reduce. He's dropped on this dose before.

Are you doing micro dosing?

I just tested him on human meter and it was 67, tested on pet meter and 107, so he’s safe so far
 
Looking fantastic Bella! Stay safe out there though. I hope you can get to the bottom of Abby's overgrooming. I unfortunately am very well-versed with overgrooming, as my civvie Bella has been doing it for years. It started after my soul-kitty Mateo passed away suddenly, and she's never stopped. I think it started out as a comfort thing and has ballooned into a case of OCD. I can't remember if the vet at the time suggested any antidepressant for her. I hope they can suggest something that helps Abby. My Bella no longer has hair on her belly from the constant grooming, but we love her anyway, bald belly and all, haha.
