Is there any kind of preventative for that issue? I'm sorry I know nothing about this sort of issue..just wondering if there's something that could be added to his diet to help keep them from getting plugged up in the first place...that process just cannot be a very pleasant experience for him - poor thing.

And you either - you need to be at home resting your knee...best on getting going on the MRI - hope the findings are productive and they recommendation is something you can resolve. No one needs to deal with pain on top of everything else!

I’ve Looked and I didn’t find much on preventing, they did say that overweight cats get it more but Bella isn’t fat, yes he weighs 16lbs but male Ragdolls are big cats and his poop is always always normal so it should be doing it’s thing when he poops

Not getting much rest, Abby still going back and forth to cat box, she seems a little constipated somgave her some miralax and I want to check when she goes to see if there is still some blood in her pee, gave more fluids
 
Abby...I’ve given 1/8 Xanax, antibiotics, fluids, something to relax urethra, uromax and thyroid pill, she’s going back and forth back and forth back and forth to cat box, hopefully the Xanax will kick in and she will relax a little bit..thought..I guess I want her going to litter box as much as she wants so she will get this stuff out of her?????
So not a bad thing she is???

Just don’t have anyone to help so I can relax my knee
 
Have you tried giving Abby d-mannose for her cystitis? It's supposedly better if there's an actual UTI but many use it as an all around "bladder soother". It's an almost tasteless white powder that can easily be mixed in wet food. I have the NOW brand for Teasel and his sister who's also prone to bouts of cystitis without infection.

Looks like it has sugar, that is ok for Teasel? (Bronx has been diagnosed with possible Sterile Cystitis, and looking for options)

Ok did that, and she used the other one, so I’m gonna move both by my chair
My living room looks like a vet hospital lol fluids hanging in hook on wall, all of Abby’s meds,all diabetic supplies on coffee table, food and water in front of tv stand and now LB by my chair

Wow, you have your hands full over there, between kitties not feeling well and your knee. Have you tried chicken broth for Abby? Sometimes I get the pole-caught canned tuna with the lowest salt content (90 mg/1 oz) let it sit in filtered water, smoosh it up and give mostly the broth to my Cookie who is having digestive issues, again. Then I give her little bits of tuna in the tuna broth to slowly eat. ...something to consider. I'm going to try the SEB for Cookie too. We are back to square one with her vomiting and having loose stools again. o_O

I hope things improve for you all the way around. :bighug:
 
I went and bought chicken hearts and necks boiled them, puréed the hearts added it to broth and nope she wouldn’t eat it, she wouldn’t eat broth by itself either, gonna get some Stella and chewys bone broth she will eat that
 
I've had a sick cat for months: Cookie, Tiny's sister. Vomiting, diarrhea - total GI mess.
She's on Pepcid, but I want her off of that. It's not helping anyway.
I'm going to try the slippery elm bark paste STAT!
This poor kid cannot continue like this.

We've been trying to regulate Tiny's FD and Cookies GI issues for months now...it is no easy task...so, I'll try anything at this point.
Cookie's issues are worse than Tiny's by far!

Be well...I've got to get to work now.
