    Yesterday

Our poop streak continues. Anti-jinx on that one. That makes 6 days in a row...:woot:

He continues to eat well. I washed his blanket in his tree yesterday, must of upset him as he hasn't been in it since I took the blanket. He did sleep between DH and I last night though. Found him there several times during the night when I woke up.

Jonesy's message for today. This one was a bit of a surprise. I know I love a good snuggle fest with purring. When DH was hurt our one cat Libby started jumping up on him and laying down to purr and happy foot. Maybe she knew something we didn't.

    2. THEIR PURRING HELPS TO HEAL BONES, TENDONS AND MUSCLES
A cat purring is one of the most comforting sounds in the world and while it certainly means your cat is happy and comfortable, the sound has also been long associated with a therapeutic healing ability on human bones and muscle.

A cats purr creates vibrations at a frequency of 20-140 HZ, and studies have shown that frequencies in the 18-35 HZ range have a positive effect on joint mobility after injury, scientists have begun talking about how the cat noise could help humans

    Nice Jones.

I know their purring relaxes me. So hope their belief is true.

I definitely believe it - I also love having a purring cat cuddle up to me in bed, there is no sound that is more soothing.

Oh amen on the purring being the BEST sound in the world! Just another little bit of trivia - an idling diesel engine runs the same rpm's as a cat's purr...explains why I could fall asleep over the doghouse (engine cover) of my semi when I drove years ago....
