Christmas Eve Good Morning L, B, & L~ Started the day with lots of poop! Lots, with some normal, some dryish and a dollop of pudding . I'm thinking that is why he's a bit higher this morning or he went a little lower last night. He didn't seem like he wanted to eat at first....... Now that the S, Boulardii is off the table for him, I shouldn't sprinkle on Flortiflora either as it has yeast in it. I've got to come up with something different and safe for his allergies to use when I need to entice him. He likes me to hold the plate for him now. He's still isolating in the basement. Hasn't come up and slept on my bed for part of the night in a long time. Makes me sad. Still using the Zymox drops for his ears through this Tuesday and see what happens. My homeopath told me to use 1/8 of cup of olive oil, crush 1 clove of garlic and let sit for 3-4 hours, strain and use 1 drop in each ear for 2 weeks.( refrigerate after straining) I might try that after the Zymox is done. Yesterday, the animal chiropractor came to my house and adjusted him. My AC told me his thoracic was out from shaking his head. Sure enough, Dr. Leah said it was out on the right side. She did some lazar treatment too. Vines for all Beans and Kitties in need. It's been sad around here with all the recent loses, Gizmo, China, and Chuck. OT: Going to Bethlehem for a nice lunch with BFF and to exchange gifts. Tomorrow, another one of my nieces is coming to town to see mom. Ho HO HO, the fun continues.
Sometimes when Allen decided he didn't like his food I would sprinkle some parmesan on it. Sometimes it worked; other times not
I hope Bubba continues to get better. Nice the animal chiropractor could come to the house. Sending prayers.
Hope you can get Bubba’s food figured out. Been going through food allergy problems with Jessie (drooler). Have bought many bags of expensive food trying to find something her stomach will tolerate and doesn’t make her horribly itchy. It’s very frustrating.
More vines on the way for Bubba to feel all better soon. Rusty enjoyed eating when I held his bowl on my lap while we watched TV. It was a special time. s
I hop Bubba wants to be more social again once he's done with the meds and feels better. Hope you had fun with your friend.
Oh man, Bubbs, come on up and be sociable again, your momma is missing you, don't keep her waiting!!! Ah, yes, I have to scoop Dante's homemade chicken into a little pile for him in his bowl at every meal now, and many times I just feed it to him from my hand, he is so worth it, so not an issue! We spoil them...as every animal should be, right? I hope you get to the root of things here, allergies are so tough to define...
Oh the things we do for our Kitties Hope he comes upstairs soon . I know how sad it makes me feel when Ravan does that. Enjoy your lunch! Have a Wonderful Day
I don't know that this is unsafe, but I'd be cautious. Garlic is toxic to cats, and ears are often used as a way to get meds into the bloodstream transdermally (plus he could ingest some if he was trying to clean his ears).
