Although Mala is now back in remission, Davey and I are committed to continuing to check in on the board from time to time, supporting others as we can, and updating on Mala's condition.

Little girl will be getting bgs checked 2x per week - Wednesdays and Sundays, just to make sure she's doing well. She's showing all signs of health - has energy, is demanding and ornery, yells at me all the time, and wants constant adoration. These are normal for her. She's an empress, and will get her lovings.

Our constant and eternal thanks to all those who held our hands and helped us be patient despite some really difficult days with Mala. She's alive at age 19 because we found this board, and found all of you.

It is great that she made it back to the falls. Be a good empress and stay on that throne of yours!

It's an hour before dinner time. She's sitting next to my computer, shoving her head under my hand, my elbow, my chin, and attempting to stroke my hair.

If my hand is on the mouse, one imperious paw lands on the back of it and she LEANS her weight in.

All with squeaks, snorts, purrs, yowls, and yips. She has an amazing vocabulary for a creature without the apparatus to form words, but I'm betting most of it is pretty profane.
