    Hello,
I am looking for help to be able to afford Lantus. Any leads on cheaper places, discounts, coupons, wholesale etc? Thanks, Tamala

Many US people order from a reputable Canadian online pharmacy, Marks Marine Pharmacy in Vancouver. Lantus is roughly half the price you'd pay in the US if that's where you live. There are also sellers who post in the "Supply Closet" forum who sell single Lantus pens at a reduced price. Some have been around long enough to establish a good reputation.

The cheapest way I have found to get Lantus is to use this coupon. Some have said it doesn't work for animals, but I had no issues getting this filled at Costco as recently as November of last year.

    Good luck!

Thanks Carol. I tried to fill it out but it asks alot of questions about my insurance? How did you get around that?

    Carol,
I recently tried and Costco and other pharmacies told me it would be fraud if they filled it for a pet.

You will want to fill it out indicating the purchase is made without insurance (cash). This program is designed to lower costs for cash buyers (not covered by insurance).

Bummer. I had no problems and they knew it was a vet prescription. I don't get the issue with fraud because I didn't say anything untrue to get the coupon. Specifically the form filled out to get the coupon doesn't ask about human / pet use.

Same here...my efforts to use coupons or discounts - as soon as they looked at the prescription - signed by a D.V.M. - refused to give me any discount. They said this discount is for HUMANS - and cannot be used for pets. What difference should it make to them as long as I'm paying cash - really? They just wanted more cash than less :(
