Winnie has lost the battle

    My beloved Winnie died last weekend after a valiant fight against pancreatitis and inflammatory bowel disease. I am of course devastated. I have many diabetic supplies (needles, meters, test strips) that I would like to give away to anyone in the Scottsdale area (where I am) in exchange for a donation to the charity that Dr. Lisa Pierson supports on her website, Fix Nation. I have posted details in the Supply Closet forum.

    Dear Kerrie,
    I am so sorry that it was Winnie's time to fly on her new wings to The Bridge. She has many, many old friends there to welcome her and she will be "in good paws" until that wonderful day when you are reunited.

    I know the anguish of a kitty with pancreatitis and IBD, and I am so very sorry. Hoping every day is better than the last one.
