Never heard of it. What country/state are you in? Maybe its a different name in US.
Can you put info on your signature as it helps to know about you & kitty when needed?
    Thanks.

I know I use fish oil for my older kitty for her kidneys but I know its good for alot of issues and I think arthritis is one of them.
I use Nordic Naturals fish oil.
I also know Cosequin, Dasequin & Dasequin advanced is also good for arthritis.
Those are capsules you mix in food.
Take a look at all 3. I think Dasequin is stronger than Cosequin.

    In all likelihood, it's Cosequin.

Are you sure this isn't diabetic neuropathy? If so, Zobaline (methylcobalamin) which is available on Amazon would be helpful.

adequan is amazing and best if started early before the arthritis is at a advanced stage but is still effective. All of the above is really good too. Also green lipid mussel is good and durlactin (non steroid for inflammation ) no script needed for durlactin.

the last one some people hesitate on the ingredients for a cat but I know cats who take it and are doing well.

Davidson was on Purica Recovery SA, extra strength......google it and they are only and ship. Harley is on it as well and it works very well but may take a few weeks to see progress. It’s a powder, sprinkle on food or mix it in like I do

Pet Smart sometimes has Cosequin, or you can buy it on line, same for the Purina Recovery. Duralactin you buy on line, jusypt be aware that kitties allergic to milk may react to it, and shouldn’t be given to kitties with high calcium.

Another additive I tried is hyaluronic acid, it’s a thickish liquid. Hyaflex is brand I used. I got it from my vet but it is found in some pet stores and on line. Check their website for locations. It helps joints like Cosequin does. In know some people who take it for their arthritis.

Cosequin is not for diabetics, it is for any cat with arthritis, and no, it should not impact blood sugars.

Dasuquin is similar to cosequine with some extras. Try that... But as jayla suggested the best treatment is adequan shots.

My vet said that if the arthritis is really advanced, cosequin probably won't do all that much
