Full Flower Moon party tonight! All invited!

Let's gather together, sugars and civvies, for the Full Flower Moon!

Of course there will be traditional favorites as purrpared by my mentor, Chef Rusty, and the Kitchen Krews of yore at Flower Moons past:
Appetizers: Floral Microbrews; Dandelion Wine; Snapdragon Niptinis; Marigold Dip on Nip Crackers; Clover-fed Buffalo Wings in Pineapple Sage Dressing; Grilled Jumbo Shrimp with Apple Blossoms; Crispy Mouse Heads with Hibiscus Sauce, created by L&LL Kitchen Krew Chief Felix; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas; Sushi Bar manned by L&LL Sushi Chef Tux and featuring Chef Neko's fabulous Sushi Rolls.
Entrees: Honeysuckle Chicken Casserole; Turkey Roll-ups with Sunflower Seeds; Chef Mannie’s Renowned PNW Poached Sockeye Salmon with Nip Mayo and garnished with Squash Flowers; BigMac’s Burger Extravaganza with The Works and Special Marigold Mustard; Sushi Chef Tux's Seared Ahi Tuna with Lavender Pepper Crust; Chef Rusty’s Thunderin’ Bison Chili with Fresh Salsa; Grilled Hotdogs.
Salads: Butthead’s & Donny’s Field Greens with Linden blossoms; Confetti Slaw.
Desserts: Maggie’s Signature Cheesecakes with Candied Violets; Rose Petal Ice cream with Hibiscus Flower Coulee à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Tobey’s Cimmamum Cookies; Chef Stu’s World Famous Catmint Parfaits.
Among our newer traditions are Leo's Chunky Tuna and Salmon Ice Cream with Sardine Sprinkles, Chef Felix's Sweet and Savory Crunchy Crouton Toppers, Olive's Shoelaceghetti with a side of pickles, TinySolé's sister Cookie's cod brownies filled with catnip, and PussCatDusty's crispy birds feet served on baked catnip wafers (mmmmm, crunchy!) as well as her sweet and sour skink tail vol-au-vents & freeze dried plain yoghurt balls. You'll find Bella's Catinis at the Tiki Hut.

If you're not quite feeline up for feasting and dancing the night away, Taster Blanket Coordinator Idjit, Taster-Kitchen Liaison Roxi, Taster Blanket Greeter Olive, and their helpers will find you a comfy spot on the Taster Blankets for quieter festivities and lighter fare.

I'm especially looking forward to the Circle of Remembrance tonight, when the veil thins and we can purrceive our loved ones who have Gone Ahead partying with us. When I'm planning a moon menu, I always review last year's party notes, and I'm feeline kinda extra lonely for our old friends.

But it's fun to have new friends, too! And it's fun to have a new flowered apron.

Oh my goodness! Thanks for sharing the link for last year's party (hard not to tear up seeing all the kitties who've gone ahead since then). It was actually Lou's first ever full moon party! Lou seems a bit more chipper, so he's taking a quick nap so he'll be ready to pawtay!

On my way and ready for my duties. I have the whole gang with me. Mom actually says I need to gain some weight now after not being so well last week, so I get to try everything on the menu. It all looks great and I'm really looking forward to trying it all. The kittens say they will entertain the kitties on the taster blankets again they had so much fun dancing and running around for them last time.

Mom had a few tears reading last year's link because it was Regan's next to last party on this side of the veil. So I have to make sure I get to see her and Rosa so I can report back to Mom on how well they look. ~Roxi

We may not have had a lot of RSVPs, but we sure have a big turnout here at our Full Flower Moon party! Triangle-ears as far as the eye can see! It's time for the Circle of Remembrance and our beloved GAs, then back to partying with meower flower power!

Everyone is to busy getting ready and to excited to respond

 

Katie loved the Full Flower Moon Party and says she ate a bit too much as all the food was out of this world. Thank you Chef Felix. She was excited to see her big sis Maggie's Signature Cheesecakes with Candied Violets on the menu. The Circle of Remembrance with all the GA's was and is always so special. Thank you Chef Felix for the awesome party.

 

Civvie Gus had a great time at the party. His beans were zonked after a day at PaddleFest and forgot all about the Full Flower Moon (!!). Bad beans!
The party was a big success, as we hear from Gus, who woke us up early-- too early-- when he got home.
Great job with the fuds and the fun, Chef Felix. And your new flowered apron is very handsome. So many colors that it doesn't matter if fuds and drinks get spilled on it!

 

Somehow I missed this post.... The first one with Doc on the other side of the veil...it sort of makes me cry...
