All this flat yellow must mean one thing, right? The lagoon is coming today?? It had better, otherwise dose increase as we're entering cycle 6 today.

Luci seems to be feeling mighty frisky this morning! With such a high BG she sure doesn't show it...she surprised me today by getting up in the rafters way up high in the kitchen - I thought she was getting too old for that stuff...but as usual mama was wrong! See the proof below!

Happy Caturday everyone! It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood here - sunny skies rule! Hoping you all have a great day!

Cats always seem to find the high ground --- our barncats have been known to make it up to the rafters there too -- glad they can, coyotes could never make it up

How high is she jumping to get up there?
When Ravan was only a year old he jumped down from a tall bookcase & broke his Femur right at the point it went into his hip socket. They had to do surgery & cut the end of the bone off. He did fine, I was traumatized!!

    Be careful Luci!

She jumps from the countertop to the top of the fridge and then strategically figures out how to land on that small platform up in the rafters...can you imagine attempting such a thing?:eek: I'd over or under estimate and end up sailing right through to the other side and landing splat - on the floor - it's a long way down - I don't know how she pulls off such an aerobic high-flying stunt! It's the landing on the small platform that gets me!:eek: That thing is 6" wide!! I'm always afraid she's going to fall and try to stand beneath her...but she looks down and hangs over the edge staring at me like I'm the crazy one!

I'd estimate the distance between the top of the fridge to the top of that platform - maybe 5 or 6 feet...I think the crazy part is the small place she's landing! And then you should see her calculating the jump back to the top of the fridge - it's recessed into a cabinet and the top that is available for jumping/landing is about 6" as well - I wish she'd stop doing that - and really haven't seen her do it lately - I don't know what's gotten into her - other than the fact that she feels terrific and wants to climb to the highest peak - it's just nuts I think!

Luci whatca doing way up there in the rafters?
There is/was a member on this board that built a catwalk around their kitchen for their cat; I forget who it was!

Just my observation (little as it is).. It sure seems she isn't bouncing as much or as dramatic on Levemir (more even, flat numbers) and she seems to feel better on it. Again, just an outsider's opinion.

Gizmo was a ground dweller, He was the most clumsy cat I ever knew - lol.

Frankie is a bit better but not by much :joyful:

Yes! I agree completely! But must she come to rest THERE? In the yellow lemon tree? Oh, Luci, I do wish you'd rest on the beach - I'm thinking that's just gotta be better for her little organs than those yellow numbers...we're coming up on another increase...she needs a nudge to get her down to the beach at least...but you are definitely right...she's stopped a lot of the drama! Thankfully! That was getting pretty hard on her old mama's nerves...

I agree with Lizzie. I think she is steadier on the Lev. It will probably just take a little while to find the right dose.
Luci certainly is a dare devil. She must be feeling really good!
