test strips for AT2 are very expensive. Are PetSure a good substitute? They are about half of AT2 strips. Just want to be sure they are ok to use

I like insulinx strips. I usually get them on eBay but they sell them on amazon.

Thank you! Do I use the same code on the AT2? The strips that came with the it showed 48 for a cat

It's been awhile @Janet ..since we all compared strips and even though I am dealing with Suzie (the dog) and Not Elliott (in remission 2 years+)..I have stocked up on AT, Freestyle Lite, InsulinX, and Petsure...I started using "Petsure" quite a bit as it is quite close to AT when I changed it back to #20. I will start comparing InsulinX again since after buying a lot of Freestyle Lite..the results are now opposite of before..Freestyle Lite was always LOWER than AT..Now often 20+ points higher??? And these do not expire until 2020. I think its a hit and miss situation sometimes. If you choose to view her ss, all unlabeled results mean AlphaTrak. Because we have had some negative issues with Vetsulin (which I hate) knowing the lows are extremely important..And so, at 1:30a I will use AT and InsulinX as you suggested long ago. Also, the 3 AT meters read 10 point differences when solution testing..I know that you all specialize in cats and helped Elliott into remission..but I get my most comprehensive and accurate information from all of you here even for Suzie..K9 Diabetes is nice and helpful but do not share as much including their ss. Cat vs Dog people may be very different creatures. Again, Thanks for all of your help!!! P.S. I have even tried code changes for other strips in attempt to make the numbers closer..since realizing that lowering the code for Petsure to "2" raises the Blood glucose results but now have raised it back to "20" and get fairly close AT results Next?? InsulinX trial again !!!! I hope that all of your fur babies are meowing just fine!!!!
BTW: If anyone is using PETSURE from Ebay, I offer $17.00 to the manufacturer who sells on Ebay and they accept it for 60 strips

I've never used pet sure our lite strips, but I am still finding insulinx to be accurate.
