last condo with pics and whatever else

This morning is 305, she stayed pretty flat yellow mostly for the past couple of cycles, caught one blue in there I recall....

This morning I was feeding and doing the routine with everyone but didn’t dig out my glasses (severe nearsightedness, astigmatism, whatever else) and I dragged my unicorn pajamas through a great big hairball on the front porch courtesy of Majyk, my second-oldest. That’s what I get for believing I can function without my extra eyes. :p

I have been extremely nervous in the back of my head, I have about a month or so to figure out my cat sitter situation. I am even nervous asking someone to help feed even though that person lives here (for free so it is not a lot to ask, but that’s another story), because in order to avoid things like Alice or Majyk throwing up from empty tummies, I have to give lots of little feedings because wet food, and who else but me wants to never sleep a full 8 hours again just to take care of cats? :arghh: I need to create a feeding schedule beyond what just feels right or when they ask me for food, for all 4 of them. The bunny is easier.

Here’s a silly cat cartoon. I made a video of our weird Halloween skeleton cat prop singing this. Haha. Happy Caturday everyone!

Cassandra, you sound a lot like me . . . blind as a bat without my glasses (astigmatism too)! Don't you hate putting your glasses down, then you can't see to find them?
Also, I deeply dread having to find someone else to do what I do for my pets. For goodness sakes, I go to extremes to take care of other people's animals, but don't have anyone for myself! Yet. My old pet sitter retired, just like I'm trying to do.
I've also wondered about ever sleeping normally again. Maybe by the time I'm 70 if I never get more pets! My last two dogs have let me sleep, but not my cats! I have two that start a fight every single morning, just to get me up.
I bet by the time you leave, you'll have everything lined up. Myself, I make things harder than they have to be at times:smuggrin:
    Have a great day!

Even with my second pair of eyes, I step in it. It's called sleep deprivation. No matter what time I feed before bed, the one civvie wakes me in 30 minutes. I feed him again, sometimes he eats sometimes he doesn't. When he doesn't he is put in basement. Then I get at least 3 hrs at a time. Last night hubby kept me up. I went to couch. I really got to get the spare room cleaned out and set up with day bed.

Sounds like we're all sleep deprived around here today. I'm looking forward to the nap time - already! It's barely past 10 a.m. and I'm wondering when I can go lay down? Luci is stretching out having her bath - I'm sure a nap will follow in just moments for her...crazy cats! Gotta love 'em. Who else would put up with all this night-time fun?

I hope you figure out everything for pet sitting soon!

I hope Alice slides back down today and you can get the petsitter situation worked out.

Have you tried autofeeders? Or if that’s not an option, leaving out frozen food to thaw to eat for later?

I don’t know how some folks do it. I have a whole village dealing with my little Ming-monster so those who do it alone, a standing ovation and a Nobel peace prize doesn’t seem enough. You guys all rock!!
