Diagnosed Tuesday, today was first insulin dose. This website has been incredible.

type the following in the box that opens: kitty's name/age/date of diabetes diagnosis/insulin you're using/glucose meter you're using/what (s)he eats/any other meds or health issues (s)he has. You can add your name, and a geographic location (sometimes the country/time zone matters) Be sure to SAVE when you are finished.

Insulin therapy is only one of three basic components of effective diabetic treatment, and you have probably been reading a bit on the different forums about this.

Please let us help you with learning the steps to the sugar dance, we can help with learning to test, what a good diabetic diet is, in addition to more information about the insulin you are using.

You can start a new thread on the Main Health forum so that more members can meet you and Boo, and begin to help with support and advice on feline diabetic care.
