12/12 Luci AMPS 234 *Alligator Pic , Vet Update

Busy morning here already - problems at work - another one of those things I really can't do a thing about - hate those!

Luci is going to get an x-ray of her foot this morning to see if the cast can be removed! Fingers and paws crossed!

Here's a pic my DH took yesterday of a fellow on the golf course - thought you might find this one interesting! These guys are all over the place - not just out in the glades! Always a surprise to see!

 

Cool on seeing the alligator. I hope Luci can get her cast removed. I hope she slides down and surfs today. I hope things settle down at work.

 

Good luck at the vet Luci, I hope your little paw is all better and you come home with no cast.
Yikes on the big lizard!! We used to see black bears on the golf courses in Vancouver but they're easier to scare away!

Love the pic!! I couldn't imagine seeing a gator in real life! Work problems are such a pain in the behind. I hope it gets taken care of soon! Sending vetty vines to Ms. Luci! Here's hoping you get some good news!

Luci is home from her vetty visit. Another x-ray revealed that her foot hasn't healed up all the way - yet! And now we're scheduled for Jan 6 for the NEXT x-ray and hopefully cast removal and pre-dental labs.

Don't even ask how much it's costing to get this cast/foot checked every whip stitch!!!

Luci comes home from the vet very happy though...they must be giving her 'happy gas' - she's deep into the lagoon!!! Surprise!!

 

Well I was gonna wish you success for today but I'll save it for the next vet appt.
Glad Luci comes home happy. Do they anesthesize her each time?

 

Another 4 weeks?? nooooooo Poor Luci. Cool alligator though!

 

Good reason to avoid golf!

I hope that Luci stays happy and that the next time the cast will come off. Better to be cautious than to risk further injury.

 

I can't help but wonder if it's about the money? Now days that seems to be the main incentive
Sending positive thoughts to Luci. I'm sure she'd love to have that lousy cast gone!

 

Oh Sue, I'm sorry Luci's X-ray didn't show better results! But at least it's not bothering her much; she certainly seems to be getting around ok.

Boo! However, I'll take solace in knowing she's perking up and starting to feel better. It's definitely a good sign, although I do hope she keeps herself safe and doesn't make it worse. What a rascal, but I'm going to start sending vines now that the January 6th check will be the winner! Maybe we can pile enough on to get that healing going!!

 

Ahhh poor Lucy another 4 weeks, at least she is feeling chipper about it all! Did she get a new red or green Christmas Cast?!

Wowser, that's a big pond dweller....do they remove them? We recently spent some time in far north Queensland and I was so scared of the crocs... cant imagine living in close proximity.

 

Only if they attack a pet or a person...so not really so much. This one was next to a golf course - he didn't seem to mind the golfers one bit!

She didn't appear to get any Christmas Cheer on her cast at all...mama may have to add a little something

 

Golfers only mind them when they eat their golf balls They need to take one stroke on that lol. Sending special Christmas cheer for Luci's cast....hope she switches up the cast for flip flops soon.

 

I couldn't agree more...and personally I think it's so boring that the only excitement would be to actually see the gator! LOL!

 

Yikes. I didn't realize alligators were out and about like that.

Sorry about Luci's x-ray. At least she's getting around well and looks so much more comfortable now.
