Jennifer (Tucker's Mom) is adopting one of the shelter diabetics--Kiki.

Although we do have a transport set up from WV to Wilmington and then north on the NJ Turnpike (thanks shelter volunteer Donna, Leslie, Wendy, and Jennifer), the arrangements would put Kiki at Spa Venita for two nights. DH Jim isn't too happy about that arrangement after our recent 7-week babysitting ordeal with the Yoga Cats. And Bastian will be here that weekend too.

We are looking to see whether we can put together an alternative transport on Saturday, December 11. Donna from the shelter can bring Kiki to Uniontown PA (which is southeast of Pittsburgh). If we can find drivers from there to Allentown PA, Wendy can drive Kiki the rest of the way to meet Jennifer. Here is Map A.

A slightly different route would take Kiki from Uniontown PA (same starting point, the same run into Harrisburg), but would bring her to Wendy in the Paoli/King of Prussia PA area. Here is Map B.

Please post here, PM me, or send me an email at ennis93 @att.net (remove space) if you can help. The transport could likely start in Uniontown around 9:00 am, and get to Wendy (in either of the two locations) around 2:30 pm. If you think you might be able to drive, you can likely ballpark the time for your location from the map.

Thank you. I not only appreciate you considering the transport, I also give a huge RAH :RAHCAT to Kiki for finding such a purrfect home. YOU ARE AWESOME JENNIFER!!

Woohoo another kitty going home for the holidays....Jenn you are fantastic!! What a lucky kitty Miss Kiki is to have landed so softly at your home.

Now if you all could just get a kitty that needs to go through Nebraska so I can help....I want to a some point meet a least a few of you in person!

It's too bad that you didn't need to do this today. My husband is driving today from Cincinnati to Philadelphia.

I'm only 40 minutes or so from King of Prussia ... looks like a LOT of driving for Wendy. If that is the route you go with, would it help for me to go pick up Kiki in King of Prussia and then drive back and meet Wendy somewhere farther north in New Jersey?? Just let me know ... I think I'm available :).

Jennifer ... you are just amazing :)!! Thank you for taking yet another special kitty in need of a home into yours. What an unbelievably lucky kitty!!
