    Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night, but Edward heard him hacking in the early hours and this morning I found a very small, dried-up vomit in the hall. No hairball, however. This morning he had a good test, shot, breakfast (Wellness Chicken; first sitting gobbled up), a nap in his little bed by the radiator. And now he is meowing because he knows I'm going out on a hike this morning (a short one; a woods walk with friends).

Barbara (Tuffy) tells me that Moonie vomited black stuff again last night and that Roni is very worried. She called the ER and the vet said to bring her in either then, or today, so she chose today. In the meantime, Moonie is eating this morning. Good sign. The results of the tests came in and are inconclusive. The WBC is elevated, which may indicate an infection. I'll talk to Roni this afternoon and see if she has any more information.

gotta go get ready for the hike now. Back around lunchtime.

    Thoughts and prayers for Moonie.

    Ella & Rusty

Good Morning Ella. Nice blue start to Rusty's day. It's not too far for him to join in the lagoon fun today. :D

By the time you see this, you probably had a wonderful hike. Hope it's as sunny in your neck of NY as it is here. :D

Thanks for the update on Roni & Moonie.
I noticed my cats did throw up dark sticky liquid sometimes. It was hairball caught inside for some time. After the throwup, they were fine. Could Mannie have ingested a lot of hair because when stressed, cats groom excessively?
And your forehead healed beautiful already?

    Re: 11/15 Rusty AMPS 171, +5 123, +9 104, PMPS 119

    Hi again,

I've been on the phone with Roni and told her that we agreed entirely with how they are proceeding (see Moonie's condo for today). Moonie is eating, is tired but is acting good, and Roni does not want to put her through any exploratory things, especially not now. The tumor is in a difficult place to reach. Apparently it is very recent and it is not clear whether or not it is cancerous. So they are going to concentrate on making Moonie's stomach feel better, make sure she is comfortable, and hope that she will be stabilized once they move into the apartment. (They got the keys today and will move in early next week.)

Rusty had a good day, enjoyed his fuds, didn't want to go outside in the cold, and had a few good naps in his various sleeping places.

    bbl,

    Ella & Rusty
