When Diamond was getting .25U and earned a reduction, it was suggested I reduce to 0.1U because there is a difference between 0.1U and a drop. I was shown a picture of where 0.1 was on a syringe. I switched syringes because I felt I could pull that tiny bit out better and be more consistent with them. Well, I just did multiple water trials to see the difference. I squeezed the syringe all the way tight, let go and drew to the 0.1 mark and I also started the syringe at the top of zero mark and pulled even to the bottom of zero mark (0.1 U, right?). On average, the same amount of water, a drop, came out of syringe.
I guess I'm wondering if I'm doing it wrong or maybe it's the syringe? Either way, I don't see how I can give him any less if he earns another reduction.
