Furball was happy & purry this morning. She's bouncing from her trip to blue last night. She barely ate any of the food I left out for her. That is so frustrating, but I can't make her eat. Hopefully, she'll slide down slowly today.

Shasta did a little bit of the same this morning...a bunch of fuds left over and then she ate right before I poked her. Hope she has a nice slide down today. Stay warm and stay safe, Carla!

I'm sure the bounce will clear today. Not finishing food is also a problem with Simon. It is very frustrating! I usually take up the bowl and then put it down again a little bit later. Sometimes, he thinks it is a brand new dish of food and will eat more. Of course, I can't do that while I am sleeping.

Eat your fuds, Furball! I do what Georgia does. I "present" food to Trix in small batches over the course of the morning/evening. Ever since the p-titis, she won't eat enough in one sitting and she won't eat enough if I just leave the plate out for her, but if I hold it for her, she does fine. I hope it doesn't come down to that with Furball...it's a great bonding experience, but it is time-consuming and stressful.

OK, happy, purry Furball. Here's the deal. EAT! Polly plays move the plate games, too. On the counter. On the floor. On the other side of the counter. Even Fortiflora demands from time to time. I run several foods through her rotation and sometimes the "newness" factor motivates more eating, less playing.

Furball is in a good mood this evening, despite still being pink.

We had snow flurries on and off again today, but still no accumulation. It's finally cold here. Yesterday stayed around freezing (32F) all day, but didn't feel cold. Right now it's 15F, with a wind chill of -4F. Tomorrow morning it's supposed to be 5F, with a wind chill.
