Hello all, hope you all had a great night and are heading into a wonderful day :)
Willow had a few wonderful poops last night along with a beautiful blue surf and her AMPS is lower, yay! Would love a green day, Willow :)

I also wasted 3 BD syringes with a drop of lubricant in them this morning. At $37 a box, I think I'll try another brand next time. @Kris & Teasel , which syringe do you use?

Thanks so much, with love, Nikki

I buy my U100 syringes from my vet. They're from a company called EliMedical and have a cat and dog on the box. They're typical U100 syringes with half unit marks but obviously aimed at the vet market. I pay about $35 a box - less than U100s from human pharmacies near me. Are they perfect? Probably not but I confess to not being too fussed by less than perfect syringes. I've tossed the odd one that seemed to have wonky markings near the needle end because they're key for drawing up a dose but that's it. I do the best I can to draw up consistent doses and leave it at that.

Great start for Willow this morning! I hope she makes it to the lagoon and surfs today. :D

I use the CarePoint 31G U100 syringes with half unit markings from ADWdiabetes, found HERE. I have them on auto-ship, so I pay $10.61 per box. I've used them for the entirety of our FD journey (U40 syringes when we were on Vetsulin, then switching to the U100s), and I like them a lot. The only issue they've ever had is sometimes the markings are not even to the syringe. Knowing this, I always see where the lines start and adjust the dose accordingly to ensure I'm always giving the same amount of insulin each time. An annoyance at times, but nothing too major. I'm used to it. :)

LOL she heard us talk about upping her Monday if she didn't respond over the weekend. This one will most likely cause a little bounce, I think. This cat just does not want a dosecrease!
