He didn't eat any additional food last night. He did eat his FD @ +8.5. He was hungry this morning and ate 1/3 can FF with MMR. He also wanted his after-shot treat which he hasn't really been interested recently. He was vocal and purry while I fixed his feeder and got his shot ready. Still noticed a bit of wobble (hip pain?) but doesn't seem as bad this morning (I think).

He had a poo this morning after the +11 test. And is drinking water from his bowls. He had a nice drink after he ate this morning.

He is currently waiting beside his feeder for more food. :banghead:

Not sure what I am going to do about a vet visit. I guess if I take him I will take him back to his regular vet offices for now. The vets don't get into the offices until 8 or 9am anyway so I can't do anything until then and by that time I will know if he is going to eat. Either way I need to get Cerenia JIC - going into the weekend.

I guess I am going to take a personal day today.
 
I hope you can figure out what is going on with Gizmo and get him eating consistently. I'm glad he ate some this morning. Sending prayers. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
Good luck with the vet visit. I think it is wise to go and have him checked out. You will get peace of mind.

Just a though, does he have to jump up onto anything to eat that could be discouraging him with what ever is going on with his hip?

If he keeps eating I am not taking him. He gets sooo stressed I am afraid it could be counterintuitive.

Feeder is on the floor on a 4" riser so it is right at his level.

He is still sitting beside his feeder waiting for it to turn :rolleyes:. These cats. Test in 5 min.

Ate his +2.5 with enthusiasm! Thought he was going to try and start taking bites out of the ramekin - lol. Going to get a +3 and give a dose of pain meds and head to work if the numbers allow.
