AMPS 162 shooting 2.25u
I do think the shot was a bit light last night.
Boomer ate all of his overnight food. I did have to change out his +3 before I went to bed, HRH decided he wanted something different.
Boomer behaved himself yesterday when I went to my appt; I fed at +2 to try to keep him flat and he did stay pretty flat yesterday.
On the Bean's agenda today: a friend is taking me out for lunch (my birthday is coming up) so I need to leave here around 10:45 (+3.75) to get to her place then she will drive us to a small town about 45 minutes away; it's a lovely tearoom and the grounds are beautiful and include a pond so we're also bringing cameras and hoping that the weather cooperates. DH will be on Boomer duty.
This past weekend DH and I drove to an area outside of the city where Sandhill Cranes had been spotted (also the spot where Snowy Owls hang out). Well, we didn't see either Cranes or Owls but I did manage a shot of a Horned Lark! I imagine they will be leaving the area soon until next winter.
PS I didn't manage to find a coyote the other morning; there were 3 of us there looking for them. Last night I suggested to DH that we drive there (it's only 6-7 minutes away) after t/f/s so we did; again there were a few people there stalking the location where they usually travel towards their den but we didn't see anything. Can't go over this morning but possibly tomorrow morning I'll try to get there early.
