06/21 - Small Kitty amps 499 pmps 428 sounds like a bounce

It sounds that all good pmps that are going well are followed by deadly amps. I was
not expecting a sunny morning but a near black one is a sad sight.

Would there be an explanation and something I could do to stop these night / early morning
peaks ?

Is it possible that Small Kitty's pancreas has reach a point that it doesn't create insulin
at all and it's only means of getting the liquid is by injection ? Something like an amyloidosis
(http://petdiabetes.wikia.com/wiki/Amyloidosis). I noticed that last night Small Kitty went
above renal threshold, urine was abundant.

Can Small Kitty's spread sheet prove pancreas is still working a bit ? If it's jammed tight
by poisonous GL level good numbers are just a little break before insuline dies out after
it's effect is done.

Hope it's not the case.

Good Morning Sebastien~ I think Small Kitty is bouncing from the +5 last night and maybe even went lower through the night. Today is cycle 4 on this dose. Let's give it a chance. I know it is hard to see these high Preshot numbers but we know that the dose dropped him at least 100 points last night and maybe lower and we don't know what is happening in the daytime. Would it be possible for you to get someone in during the daytime mid cycle to get a test? That information would be helpful.
 
I agree with Bobbie. Also it is much too soon to make such an assumption. I suspect you just haven't found the right dose just yet. You can't rush that. As mentioned often here it's a marathon and not a dance for most of us.:bighug:
 
Bobbie, Elise, your're right, although I cannot test on day time + even me have trouble with Small Kitty when
testing, someone else would have a really hard time testing. Shooting is not so bad has he's eating, test
is another story.

While looking at other dose change, there has always been deadly amps. Nights are dropping so
low that amps are poisonous, don't understand. It's been 3 months like that, food no food, small dose
high dose. All day curves were pretty flat, only night shifts are crazy.

Don't undestand this long time phenomenon.

TiffMaxee's Spread sheet is pretty neat.

My greatest concern is that diagnostic has come too late and internal organs or no longer performing as the should because of intoxication. The case being who knows if recovery
is even possible. Many site are basically saying it's not.
 
Good evening all,

I think Low results from yesterday were just prelude to a bounce starting. We'll see a few days of
high to low numbers then back to high. Hopefully this dose increase is not making things worst.

Thinking about bringing Small Kitty to a new vet but wondering what he or she could do better.
Bring him to hypo by rushing doses ? Or make me switch to tight ? You got to be careful
about these guys, by proving they're smarter they may just scrap up your work, don't know.

Will give new dose a chance and hope it was for the best.
