Last week's post
Hello everyone in FD land! Ivana would like to report that she's had a really good week and is still green

Something has been happening in the past week though, and that's that she is quite a bit hungrier. When she first became regulated, she didn't eat much at all and we reduced her serving to 1/2 tin x 4 per day. She lost a bit too much weight though so we increased her to 2/3-3/4 tin x 4 day. It was all going fine except she started to have some CKD vomits so we're trying to make sure she always has a little something in her tummy. Turns out she want a bit more than a little in her tummy, and if we caved in to her demands she'd be eating 4 full tins per day! I admit that I was a bit nervous about her test today incase the increased appetite was linked to higher BGs, but it's not that... I suppose maybe she just feels uncomfortable with an empty tummy due to the acid issue, so wants to eat more. Or maybe because it's cold. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it. I dunno... she's got a vet appointment next Saturday so I will talk to the vet about it.
In other news, you may remember the night-time yowling issue we had a few weeks ago, and it turned out Ivana is losing her night vision and so the yowling when we turned the lights off was because she couldn't see. So we installed nightlights in the loungeroom, kitchen and her ensuite (littertray), where she's likely to need to go through the night. It worked for a while, but she's been yowling again lately. Not sure what's going on, but considering contacting the animal communicator we've used previously to find out straight from the horse's mouth. Hubby is not so keen on that idea as he thinks psychic stuff is a load of BS, but it's driving us nuts at night and she's obviously distressed about something and I'd rather cover all bases.
Anyway, here's some cute photos of the Princess
