Good morning!
AMPS 164 shooting .5u
Boomer ate most of his overnight fuds leaving his +6.
Allen ate very well last night and left us a small lb deposit.
Today on this Bean's agenda: photo session with an 8 month old girl at 11:00 (+3). This session was originally scheduled for 2 months ago and has been postponed several times due to weather and once due to the child being ill. There is supposed to be rain coming today but it's due this afternoon so hopefully we can finally get the session done! And DH will be home with the boys while I'm out.
Yesterday afternoon I was at home and heard my Blue Jays call. During the winter a pair come regularly for peanuts but in the spring/summer/fall I don't see them often. I went outside with some peanuts and there were blue jays all over my yard! A couple in the tree, a couple on the deck, one on the fence, the rest were flying around. There were 7 or 8 of them I believe! Some were babies. Reached in the door for my camera. Had to come back in for more peanuts several times! I had a piece of driftwood in my garden and I grabbed it and set in on my deck railing for them to land on (thinking the photo would be more attractive). Put a peanut on the top of it. And they started landing on it right away! Then my cardinal pair came for a visit and she landed on it as well! Lots of blue jay/cardinal photos coming lol! Oh and I also saw a pair of Downy Woodpeckers in my yard.
Today so far I've seen blue jays land on the driftwood 4 times, obviously expecting a peanut to be there lol. Later dudes!
Today's photo is of a Barn Swallow about to take off from the railing at the Marsh Walk at Point Pelee, Ontario
