I just got back from running home to check on him. He is not eating. He didn't eat his +2.5 or his +4.5 this AM. I tested him (+5.5=139) so he was ok, got him to eat and have him 1/2 Mirtz and 0.2mL of pain med. I don't know what to do. This very well may be a pretty bad panc flare but he is not acting in pain - just like he isn't hungry. No drool, no vomit
I was trying to hold out for the new appy enhancer (Cyproheptadine rx on its way from Diamondback) but went ahead and gave him the Mirtz. He is eating with tons of encouragement but when I am not there he is not eating or very slow to eat. I will have to rely on the appy enhancers for when I am at work. He is acting ok. He was loving and purring this morning, active, came and got his morning brushing. He ate overnight (his +7.5) when we were asleep. IDK. The Mirtz help before so I pray this will get him through.
AND.... he just finished another bowl/snack.
I put his +2.5 snack in where his +4.5 snack (that he ate when I was home) was and I just watched him via webcam lick the bowl clean. He did the exact same thing last night. Wouldn't eat his +2.5 and took tons of encouragement to eat his +4.5 - and then I put the +2.5 snack in that slot and headed to bed. - He ate the +2.5 snack before I got upstairs.
