Good morning!
AMPS 216 :eek::eek::eek::eek: shooting .5s
It was meant to be .5 but I took a second look just before shooting and looks more like a skinny .5.

Boomer ate most of his overnight fuds, leaving his +9.

Allen ate very well last night. He doesn't seem to be feeling very well; I imagine his BG is low...I haven't tested it in a few days there doesn't really seem to be a point since we can't find any way of raising it. Dr Larry has no new suggestions and he's already on 2 meds to help it.:(

Today I'm heading out to a different spot for a walk since there's been very little going on at my normal go-to pond these last few days. The warblers are apparently starting to migrate through so hopefully I'll see some this morning.

Today's photo is of a Sanderling; one of 6 that were on the edge of the pier at Port Stanley a few days ago. They are currently migrating through this area. They were busy and very quick little birds and hard to photograph!

Agree with Carla about HV...mine is a lifeline and we consult only by phone . Have depended on her for 20 years :bighug: Just a thought. Hugs and prayers to sweet Allen❤️

Here's to hoping Boomer and Allen feel better. Fall migration has started here also, adult Grosbeaks and Orioles are long gone and the bird feeders are very quiet except for the hummingbirds. They are very busy getting ready to depart southbound.

Adorable picture .. those little birds are fun to watch!

Have you consulted with a specialist about Allen? That's strange he won't respond to any meds. :bighug:
Dr Larry has consulted with specialists. He's just got so many things going on right now and the insulinoma has dropped his BG and we can't seem to get it to come back up.

I gave Allen some of his kidney food a while ago...I know it's higher in carbs. And he did eat it (he hasn't wanted any of his kidney foods lately). And I just took his BG and it is 54 now (I don't know what it was earlier but Allen seemed very weak and I suspect it was very low). So I'm going to try to get him to eat more of the kidney foods....even though I've been told that doesn't really work because it causes the insulinoma to drop even more insulin into him....he does like to graze so perhaps it will help.
Giving him the dexamethasone will help us, even though it's not helping his BG directly it makes him hungry so hopefully he will eat his kidney foods.

Hi Judy,
I hope Allen's bg will get normalized soon. Lots of vines for him.
Deputy Boomer, time to head on down to the lagoon.

Great photo. "Our" birds are mostly the year-rounders right now. Hoping to see some migrants soon.
This hot, humid weather is the pits!
